2. Peter Pan - I think there is a little boy in every guy that just wants to come out and play and never wants to grow up. I think its cool.
3. Pete and Christie Deegan - (children: Skyler, Joey, Riley) - I have some friends that have been friends of mine for a really long time. I've known Pete and his family since as far back as I can remember. Then met Christie at college. We've been friends through VERY thick and VERY thin times. It's only by the grace of God that He has allowed us to be friends for so long. But I don't know what I would do with out them. I am so thankful for this family in my life.
4. Peculiar/Paradox - I like things that are peculiar. The not-so-obvious conclusion or the things in life that require a second look. Similar to that, I like things that are paradoxical, that just plain don make sense. Its makes life spicy, right? But that can be a problem sometimes, because it tends to over complicate things that might not need to be complicated...therefore to balance it out, I am thankful for parsimony.
5. Parsimony - according to wikipedia "is a 'less is better' concept of frugality, economy, stinginess or caution in arriving at a hypothesis or course of action". Sometimes the most simple way of living, or most simple way of looking at life, really is the best.
6. Pastors/Priests/Parsons etc - Is this a job I would want? Noooo. Its is necessary? Definitely. I am thankful for the people who step up and take the hard jobs. I pray that it doesn't go to their head.
7. Pray - For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
8. Party - The people that get to know my family realize two things pretty quickly. #1. We're all rather eccentric. #2 We will find any possible reason to celebrate something. (i.e. Hooray! It's the first day I get to wear my turquoise socks! or Yay it's been exactly a year since my last root canal, Celebrate! or Yippee I filled in the last page of my journal, Lets go out for ice cream!) We love a good party for any and every reason. I am thankful for that, quite a bit.
9. Parks - I thinks whoever invented parks was brilliant. Someplace to go and be outside, but your don't have to drive forever to get to, where kids (and kids at heart - see #2) can run around and play! Which brings me to #10.
10. Play - I am thankful that there is a season for everything.

I have absolutely no idea how I forgot to have Prayer on my list!! CRAZY! Prayer is so wonderful and can be so intimate with our heavenly Father....
