Ten on Tuesday Juh-juh-juh-Jay!

Orderless

10. Jan Karon - Been reading her Mitford books. Yup I'm a sucker for them and I'm stuck in a world full of local clergy, the Village Main Street Grill, and a large dog named Barnabas that will only be disciplined by scripture.

9. Jamba Juice - I have so many very good memories about Jamba Juice. Haven't had it for a while but I really like it. Especially the onein Hillcrest, if you stop in there ask for the manager Charity, she's my step-sister :) Oh and their Green Tea smoothies are a treat!

8. Joy - We've just been studying a lot about Joy. The Joy that is a fruit of the spirit, like what you get when a prayer is answered, and the joy that you have just as being a believer like Jesus had, i.e. who, for the JOY set before him endured the cross scorning it's shame and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

7. Joy (2) - Lucy Joy specifically, what can I say I am a fan :)

6. Jordan - as in Bethany Jordan. She makes me laugh like no other and cry like no other, its instantaneous. I love you my sister.

5. Just because - I am thankful for "just because" things. Things for myself and for other people. Some things thatwere done "just because" have awakened something in me that I didn't know had fallen asleep.

4. Jasmine - I am thankful for the beauty of Jasmine. Not the fake perfume but the real flower, it is refreshing.

3. Journeys - I am very thankful that this life is a journey, that He has more paths for me to to walk with a future and a hope, that the race is not finished even though we know who the winner is.

2. Jokes - especially of the "pun" variety. I think they are "punny". Get it? I combined PUN and FUNNY!? Get it!? The worse the better.

1. Jesus Christ - "He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed. We all like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet He did not open His mouth; He was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so He did not open His mouth. By oppression and judgement He was taken away. And who can speak of His descendants? For He was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people He was stricken. He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though He had done no violence, nor was any deceit in His mouth. Yet it was the LORD's will to crush Him and cause Him to suffer, and though the LORD makes His life a guilt offering, He will see His offspring and prolong His days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in His hand. After the suffering of His soul He will see the light [of life] and be satisfied by His knowledge; my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities. Therefore I will give Him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because He poured out His life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors." "Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under that earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
